I did not set out to start a business. I was simply trying to survive and find my footing again.

My journey has been shaped by caregiving, loss, healing, and rebuilding. Through seasons of personal and family health struggles, deep grief, and major life transitions, I learned firsthand how isolating hard seasons can feel. During those moments, faith, creativity, and the quiet strength found in community were what carried me through.

Sunshine Creations was born from that place.

I have always loved crafting. What began as a simple request to make a wreath for a gift quickly turned into many more wreaths and a growing realization that creating brought joy not only to me, but to others as well. Crafting became a lifeline for me, offering peace when life felt uncertain and reminding me that something beautiful could still be made in the middle of hard seasons.

Before starting Sunshine Creations, I spent years serving as an event planner for a local fire department. When that chapter came to an end, I felt a clear nudge to take everything I had learned and try something on my own. In October 2024, I held my first craft and vendor show, and that moment marked the beginning of Sunshine Creations as a business.

​

I believe creativity is more than a hobby. It is a tool for healing. I believe community is built through connection, not competition. And I believe small moments of joy can make a lasting difference.

As a mother, caregiver, and entrepreneur, I understand how important it is to create spaces that feel warm, inclusive, and intentional. Every event, retreat, craft night, and resource I offer is thoughtfully planned with care and heart.

Today, Sunshine Creations hosts community vendor events, creative gatherings, retreats, and outreach initiatives designed to support small businesses, families, and individuals while fostering genuine connection and belonging. Whether you attend an event, create alongside others, or use a resource at home, my hope is always the same. That you leave feeling encouraged, supported, and a little lighter than when you arrived.

In addition to this work, I am also an author. My writing reflects themes of faith, resilience, healing, and hope, inspired by real life experiences and a deep belief in the power of story.
